Why Dr. Fuzz
I’m Jordan Sangid: an analog electronics engineer with a PhD in electrical engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. I bring lab-grade diagnostic discipline to gear that has to sound good on a real stage.
This is not a volume shop. Every piece is evaluated carefully, worked on methodically, and returned ready for real-world use.

No work begins without your approval. Diagnostics are credited toward approved work.

I work on gear that’s meant to be played. Vintage amps, noisy boards, half-working pedals, and rigs that need thoughtful fixes instead of guesswork.
Local drop-offs in Knoxville are preferred, but shipped-in work is welcome.
